auto news desk, The Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been long awaited. It is one of the most awaited SUV in India. The 5-door version of the Jimny was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. Now its prices are to be announced next month. However, ahead of the official launch, Maruti Jimny prices have been leaked online through dealer invoices.
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door SUV will be offered in two trim levels – Zeta and Alpha. It will have a total of four variants. According to dealer invoices leaked on the internet, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny will cost Rs 9.99 lakh for the base Zeta MT variant while the top-spec Alpha AT variant will cost Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 1.5-litre K-series naturally-aspirated petrol engine has been used to power the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. This engine generates 103 bhp and 134 Nm peak torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The Jimny gets the AllGrip Pro 4X4 system as standard for better off-road capabilities. Talking about features, the new Jimny 5-door SUV gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Arkamys speakers, 9.0-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system There will be many features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold control, hill descent control, rear parking camera and reverse parking sensors.
