inner part

Stepping inside by opening the large doors reveals the same high-quality cabin as the larger variant, although the Sport variant gets a new steering wheel. The 13.1-inch curved touchscreen on the dashboard along with the digital instrument cluster looks great. The rest of the layout is clean. The new Range Rover Sport gets a host of features including digital rear view mirrors, air suspension, leather upholstery, full glass roof, digital LED lights, soft close doors, heated/ventilated massage seats and head up display.

driving experience

The new generation Range Rover Sport is easier to drive than its predecessor and the steering is lighter too, which isn’t a problem despite being so big. We drove the P400 with a turbocharged 6 cylinder petrol engine that produces 400 PS of power and 550 Nm of torque, mated to a mild hybrid system. The engine is quite good in terms of refinement and makes very little noise. Steering this big SUV doesn’t take much effort thanks to the light steering.

ultimate off roader
Being a Land Rover, it gets the new Terrain Response System, due to which it is a step ahead of its competitors. Its ground clearance is 300 mm and water wading capacity is 900 mm. This means that it is a smooth SUV as well as an excellent off-roader.

worth
In many respects, the SUV might look a bit expensive in comparison to its competitors at a price of Rs. 1.6 crores, but being an off-roader, it is quite an attractive package with great looks, features and a great driving experience.
