auto news desk, Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the Fronx SUV very soon in the Indian market. The company had also started accepting bookings for the Franks in January this year along with introducing it at the Auto Expo 2023. According to the information, so far more than 15,000 units of this SUV have been booked. Although now the company has also disclosed its mileage.

Franks will get two engine options
The 1.2L automatic transmission variant of Maruti Suzuki Fronx returns a mileage of 22.89 kmpl, which is the highest among all other variants. And the least mileage is of the 1.0L automatic transmission engine, which is 20 kmpl. Maruti Suzuki Franks will be brought in two engine options – 1.0L Turbo Jet Petrol and 1.2L Dual Jet VVT Petrol. The 1.0-litre engine gets a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox option, while the 1.2-litre engine gets a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option. Maruti also claims that the Frons 4.9 Offers best-in-class turning radius of metres. In terms of dimensions, the Franks measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,550 mm in width and has a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. The Franks comes with 16-inch alloy wheels and 308 liters of boot space.
How much will it cost?
The price of Maruti Franks can be between Rs 6.75 Lakh to Rs 11 Lakh. After its launch in India, it will compete with Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet. According to reports, the company may launch Frox in the second week of April.
