This car was launched in 2017 to compete with the vehicles present in the sub 4 meter SUV segment. This car has received tremendous response since its launch. Nexon 1.0
Tata Motors launched its first generation Nexon in the domestic market in 2017. The concept version of this car was introduced at the Auto Expo 2017. Whereas its production version worked to attract many customers. It was initially offered with 7 variants and two engine options. In which the first is a 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine, whose power output is 109hp and 170Nm and the second is a 1.5l four-cylinder diesel Revotron engine, which gives 109hp power and 260Nm peak torque. It was offered with both 6-speed manual and automatic options. Later, a sunroof feature was also added to it.

Seeing the excellent response of 2 years, Tata Motors launched the second generation of this car in 2020 with interior and exterior updates. Its headlight and taillights were introduced with minor changes. Apart from this, the company also brought its electric variant while giving more details to it. Which made this car more special.

Nexon EV
Tata Motors announced the price of this car in the beginning of the year 2020. The initial price of which was kept at 14.99 lakh ex-showroom. The electric car was introduced with a 30.2 kWh battery pack and an estimated driving range of 300 km. This electric car gradually became the best selling electric SUV.

Nexon EV Max
Due to the tremendous success of Nexon EV and high demand for its driving, the company will launch EV Max in 2022. In which a 40.5 kWh battery pack was given, which has an ARAI certified driving range of 453 km.

special Edition
After its journey of over 6 years, the Nexon was also seen in a few special avatars which include Dark Edition, Kaziranga Edition and Jet Edition. So that customers can get something new. However, this strategy of the company seems to be working.
