The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will come with a new turbocharged petrol engine and updated styling and interiors. It will get a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which was introduced at the 2023 Auto Expo. This engine will be used in the new Curve SUV. This engine will generate 125PS of power and 225Nm of torque. It will get a 6-speed manual gearbox. AMT transmission is available in its current model. The new model may also get a new dual-clutch automatic transmission system.

The dual-clutch automatic transmission system is currently offered by Tata Motors in its Altroz hatchback. This system of the company is very compact, in which 35 percent fewer components are used than other DCTs. The gearbox is claimed to have 13 gears with a planetary gear system instead of 20 gears in the conventional DCT. According to the company, it gets better shifting quality due to less moving parts.
How will the new Nexon be?
The existing 110bhp diesel in the new Nexon will also be offered with the 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with manual and AMT. The spy pictures suggest that the new Nexon may incorporate styling elements from the curvy SUV. It will get completely new front and rear styling. The SUV will come with a new grille and a new split headlamp setup and an LED light bar.
