auto news desk, Citroën has introduced the new costliest variant of the C3 hatchback in India, the C3 Shine, priced at ₹7.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Shine variant adds some essential features that were missing from the model introduced earlier. The new costliest model gets a rear-view camera, fog lamps, a rear wiper and washer, a rear defogger, electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, a day- The Knight comes with additional features like adjustable inside rear-view mirror and diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Etcetera. The 10.24-inch touchscreen has also been changed and now includes ‘My Citroën Connect’ connected car features. The technology was already introduced in the fully electric eC3 and is now available on the petrol model as well. Apart from new features, the lower-spec Feel trim in the Shine variant gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, remote locking and unlocking and many more. Citroën has now also made changes to the C3 to comply with the BS6 Stage 2 norms. For now, the hatchback is only available with a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine, with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol variant expected to be introduced at a later date.
