General Motors has unveiled the Omega Edition of the Hummer EV. The starting price of the new SUV is $ 139,995 i.e. around Rs 1.14 crore. The company has introduced this EV in SUV and pickup avatars. At the same time, its special model has entered with exclusive Neptune Blue matte paint color. This car was first introduced in 1992. During that time the civil version of the M998 Humvee model was launched in the market. Since then the Hummer has become one of the most popular models for the company. However, the 2008 recession and the promotion of green mobility led to the launch of Hummer’s EV incarnation.

Several changes have been made to the Limited Edition to make the Hummer EV stand out from the current model. Under the off-road package, this variant will get features like removable transparent sky panels with carbon flash trim rings and exclusive 18-inch gloss Bedlock-capable wheels.

Talking about the interior of the SUV, only a 5-seater cabin has been given in the Hummer EV Omega Edition. It will get hi-luxe carpet flooring, MultiPro tailgate audio speaker system by Kicker, multifunctional steering wheel, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Hummer EV Omega Edition: 482 km range
The new edition of Hummer EV has been introduced with dual or triple electric motors. GM’s 800V Altium battery pack will be used in this. The company claims that this car will cover a distance of 482 km in full charge. Apart from this, the new SUV can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds.
Hummer EV Omega Edition: Price
The deliveries of this car are expected to start in 2024. The starting price of its SUV version is around Rs 1.14 crore. Whereas, the pickup variant costs around Rs. 1.22 crores.
